British cruiser, “Arrogant” Quebec, Tercentenary, July 1908.
Information provided by a researcher indicates this ship was misidentified as the British cruiser HMS Arrogant. The ship in the image has two funnels, whereas HMS Arrogant had three, and thus the researcher believes this image depicts an Eclipse class cruiser (the HMS Eclipse, Diana, Dido, Doris, Isis, Juno, Minerva, Talbot or Venus).
